MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Job Description
The Medical Assistant will provide healthcare services to individuals as instructed by the Physician or APP. Duties include performing routine clinical procedures, participating in patient education, entering appropriate documentation into patients' health records, and performing other tasks as assigned within their certification scope.
Job Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma, Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Licenses and/or Certifications: National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
- Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional Medical Assistant experience, preferred
