The Lankenau Heart Group in Broomall, PA, is a dynamic network of primary care and specialty care physicians, including cardiology, family medicine, endocrinology, orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, plastic and reconstructive surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, and pediatric practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and practitioners with routine blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, EKGs, and other clinical procedures.
• Maintain smooth patient flow and anticipate provider needs.
• Work closely with both patients and healthcare providers to deliver compassionate care.

Requirements

• Proficient in medical procedures and medical terminology.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of personal computers and relevant software applications preferred.
• Knowledge of third-party payors preferred.
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program or a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at time of hire or within 30 days of start date.
