Job Description
Responsibilities
- Aid physicians with medical procedures in the office.
- Perform phlebotomy and laboratory testing.
- Ensure quality control of tests and instruments.
- Troubleshoot and maintain medical equipment.
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office.
- Preferred: Experience with venipunctures.
- Valid Florida driver’s license for travel to clinics.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- BLS certification required upon hire or within 30 days of employment.
Screenings
- Background check.
- Drug screen.
- Nicotine screen.
