Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description Join our dynamic team as a Medical Assistant at an urgent care clinic, where you will play a crucial role in patient care and clinic operations. Responsibilities Collect patient demographics and manage electronic health records.Perform patient intake based on symptoms and medical history.Assist in maintaining accurate medical records and ensure data integrity.Take and record patient vitals efficiently and accurately.Provide excellent customer service to patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals. Essential Skills Proficiency in medical record management and electronic health records (EHR).Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare protocols.Capability to manage patient intake and record patient demographics.Experience in taking and recording vitals. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1+ year experience in a fast-paced clinic.Preferred but not required: MA diploma, certification, or 1+ years of MA experience.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is advantageous.Strong front desk and customer service skills. Work Environment This role is based onsite at a primary care clinic, where you will see between 20-30 patients a day. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
