Medical Assistant 2
Responsibilities
- Room and prepare patients for appointments
- Obtain and record vital signs
- Discuss symptoms and gather patient information
- Enter information into Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Administer injections as permitted by certification
- Perform diagnostic testing
- Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a back-office/direct patient care setting
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
- Current Medical Assistant certification or registration (CMA/RMA)
- Current CPR Certification
- Less than 2 years of professional leadership experience
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
- Basic computer skills
Pay
The Medical Assistant 2 will be paid at a competitive rate commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of the team and patients.
