Medical Assist II/LPN Office Clinic-Primary Care

Physician Office, Clayton, Full-Time, First Shift

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient clinic setting under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.
• Performs basic nursing procedures.
• Assists with examinations.
• Administers medications.
• Supports patient education to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Carries out responsibilities in alignment with Kettering Health’s mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
• Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• No additional requirements beyond completion of an accredited LPN program.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Experience in an outpatient clinic or ambulatory care environment.
• Preferred: Certification in a specialty area relevant to the clinic population (e.g., geriatrics, pediatrics).
