Med Assist II/LPN Office Clinic-Primary Care

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Office Clinic provides direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient clinic setting, working under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. This role is responsible for performing basic nursing procedures, assisting with examinations, administering medications, and supporting patient education to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health’s mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
• Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• No additional requirements beyond completion of an accredited LPN program

Qualifications

• Experience in an outpatient clinic or ambulatory care environment
• Certification in a specialty area relevant to the clinic population (e.g., geriatrics, pediatrics)
