Medical Aesthetician

Position Summary

The Medical Aesthetician performs high-quality aesthetic services, including but not limited to facials, dermaplaning, medical-grade chemical peels, and non-ablative laser skin treatments. The ideal candidate must possess a strong marketing background and a proven sales record. Exemplary consultation skills are required, with a strong client-focused approach. Experience in a medical setting, preferably dermatology or plastic surgery, is a plus.

Job Duties

• Conduct Consultations: Assess clients' needs and goals, providing expert advice on company treatments and potential outcomes
• Perform Procedures: Administer treatments according to established protocols, ensuring client safety, satisfaction, and adherence to industry standards
• Patient Education: Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care, expectations, and potential side effects to ensure a positive overall experience
• Maintain Equipment: Ensure proper functioning of company equipment, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate with relevant parties for necessary repairs
• Documentation: Accurately document patient information, treatment details, and follow-up notes in electronic records
• Adhere to Regulations: Follow all relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in aesthetics and skincare
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless client experience

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a Cosmetic Technician or in similar procedures. Laser license required
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
• Ethical Standards: High ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
