Position Summary
The Medical Aesthetician performs high-quality aesthetic services, including but not limited to facials, dermaplaning, medical-grade chemical peels, and non-ablative laser skin treatments. The ideal candidate must possess a strong marketing background and a proven sales record. Exemplary consultation skills are required, with a strong client-focused approach. Experience in a medical setting, preferably dermatology or plastic surgery, is a plus.
Job Duties
- Conduct Consultations: Assess clients' needs and goals, providing expert advice on company treatments and potential outcomes
- Perform Procedures: Administer treatments according to established protocols, ensuring client safety, satisfaction, and adherence to industry standards
- Patient Education: Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care, expectations, and potential side effects to ensure a positive overall experience
- Maintain Equipment: Ensure proper functioning of company equipment, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate with relevant parties for necessary repairs
- Documentation: Accurately document patient information, treatment details, and follow-up notes in electronic records
- Adhere to Regulations: Follow all relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in aesthetics and skincare
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless client experience
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Cosmetic Technician or in similar procedures. Laser license required
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Ethical Standards: High ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Customer Focus: A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate with other practitioners, support staff, and management
