About the Role

The Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) engages Neurology specialists and key stakeholders across diverse care settings (e.g., academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts) within an assigned geography. The MS delivers clinically focused messaging to drive revenue and achieve product goals, demonstrating strong ownership, initiative, and compliant, integrity-driven performance.

  • Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share.
  • Build relationships with clinicians, nurses, and patient advocacy groups.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Reimbursement and Access, Regional Science Managers) to address customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Support sales success through participation in congresses, regional meetings, and other industry events.
  • Conduct rare neurology-specific market profiling to ensure deep understanding of regional and local healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
  • Develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans to drive achievement of objectives.
  • Educate all personnel in the account on commercially available Regeneron products.
  • Develop strategy and execute tactics within key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share.
  • Proactively identify business opportunities and coordinate efforts within the Regeneron Rare Neurology account team.
  • Gain deep knowledge of each assigned account through internal research and proactive information gathering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree mandatory; Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful experience in Neurology sales; specialty/biologic/REMS products strongly preferred.
  • Launch experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with key thought leaders or high-influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations with a concentration in Neurology.
  • Proven success and positive track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments, operating with high integrity within compliance guidelines.
  • Strong account management experience with analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
  • Current account management experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
  • Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and the current Neurology marketplace.

Pay

Salary range (annually): $158,950 - $220,000.

This is a field-based role located in Baltimore (Metro), MD. Many roles are required to be performed onsite.
