Responsibilities

• Serve foreclosure, litigation, and mediation departments by scheduling hearings and mediations in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and other events are accurately added to the firm’s diary system.
• Maintain records of hearing dates, times, and attorney coverage in the firm system.
• Communicate with judicial assistants to obtain hearing dates and coordinate with opposing counsel, defense counsel, and pro se defendants as needed.
• Collaborate with caseload attorneys and paralegals, providing assistance when required.
• Coordinate with local counsel coverage attorneys.
• Utilize basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and MS Outlook to perform job duties.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of legal administrative experience.
• Foreclosure hearing coordination experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Paralegal certification is optional.
