Media Specialist II with Security Clearance

Position Title: Media Specialist II Location: Newport, RI Clearance required: SECRET Scope of Work: Provides mid-level Media Center engineering and operations support, maintaining and troubleshooting VTC and audiovisual systems and supporting cryptographic equipment for classified sessions. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot Media Center and VTC hardware systemsConduct diagnostic troubleshooting, fault isolation, and corrective maintenanceSupport cryptographic keying material loading, testing, and troubleshootingPrepare Media Center system designs, drawings, and topology mapsMinimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level.Mid-level Media Center engineering and VTC troubleshooting skillsPersonnel supporting the classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold the certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2
