Media Specialist I with Security Clearance

About the role

Provides Media Center and audiovisual support, operating and maintaining VTC studios, conference rooms, and DVS-G facilities for classified and unclassified events. Position is located in Newport, RI and requires an active SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Media Center facilities, MCU, and VTC systems
• Provide staged audio and visual services for command events
• Perform daily operational verification testing of Media Center systems
• Support setup of VTC communications over ISDN, IP, and DISA networks

Requirements

• Minimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level
• Personnel supporting classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2
