About the role
Media Center Para at Red Oak Elementary works in a classroom environment/Learning Commons, supporting the Media Center Specialist with daily operations and student technology assistance.
Responsibilities
- Assist Media Center Specialist with day to day operations of the Media Center/Learning Commons
- Assist students with technology needs (iPads/Chromebooks, Google Drive, Canvas, Infinite Campus, etc)
- Supervision of students
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a changing work environment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience
- Two year degree preferred
- Ability to perform clerical tasks with limited supervision and assume clerical responsibility for a major segment of the media center's operations
- Desire to work and interact with middle school students
Pay
Compensation Range: $21.85 - $27.65 per hour, based on experience.
