About the role
The Media Buyer is responsible for the negotiation and placement of all media for existing clients, focusing on video, FEP, and advanced TV negotiations and account maintenance. You will manage assigned clients as part of a team, from negotiations to campaign wrap-up, incorporating the latest media trends and innovations. The role requires a creative thinker with a can-do attitude, strong multitasking abilities, and a passion for the advertising industry.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate and place commercials within the television and video marketplace for assigned markets.
- Estimate, update, and adjust program ratings.
- Negotiate and document rates, special placements, and added value.
- Execute media plans while adhering to established budgets and timelines.
- Communicate orders and changes clearly and accurately to media vendors.
- Monitor buys in progress, arrange makegoods and credits, and ensure post-buy results.
- Track media expenditures to ensure budget compliance.
- Research and maintain records of trends, innovations, and changes affecting media buying.
- Collaborate with clients, media team members, and planners to resolve billing issues.

Qualifications
- One year of agency experience or 1-3 years of media buying/planning experience as a junior or assistant buyer at a media agency.
- Work experience in national/spot television, radio, or digital media preferred.

Pay
$66,500.00 per year.
Schedule
This role requires a minimum of three days per week in the office, with potential for increased in-office days as directed by the agency or manager.
