Assistant Media Buyer, Investments
About the role
The Assistant Media Buyer will support the Investments team on each account from the start of negotiations to the final campaign wrap up. The successful candidate must be a creative thinker, incorporating the latest media trends and innovations, including streaming video and online video. The role requires a can-do attitude to tackle all assignments, the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, and a creative problem-solving approach that involves participating in the agency, the industry, and the success of our clients. The Assistant Media Buyer will learn to deal effectively with clients and work closely with the planning group in managing budgets, developing strategies, negotiating media buys, and executing customized enhancements. It is imperative that this candidate follows technology and creative work to stay on top of pertinent information and trends.
Responsibilities
- Invoice maintenance, assisting Negotiators, Supervisors & Managers as assigned
- Entering programming and buys into the system and projecting TV and Radio ratings for future buys
- Pulling market research and tracking delivery of streaming audio and video investments
- Confirming and monitoring media orders with television and digital partners
- Constructing post-buy analyses to determine actual delivery of the schedule
- Managing budget summaries, campaign flowcharts, and billing
- Creating insertion orders and digital campaign detailed summaries
Qualifications
- Ability to work on several projects at once
- Excellent communication skills
- Internship or relevant coursework preferred
- Bachelor's degree in business administration/marketing preferred

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000.00.
Schedule
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
