About the role

The Lead Caregiver is a frontline leader responsible for providing exceptional resident care and supporting the caregiving team in an assisted living environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift assignments, manage attendance, and ensure proper coverage.
• Offer hands‑on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Coach caregivers on quality standards.
• Review documentation to ensure compliance with Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
• Monitor resident health changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
• Promote safety and compliance.
• Facilitate smooth shift transitions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification.
• First Aid certification.
• Medication Administration certification.
