Med Surg RN - Contract

Registered Nurse Seeking a dedicated Med Surg RN to provide compassionate post-operative care in a dynamic healthcare setting. Responsibilities include administering medications, managing drips such as PCA and Heparin, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. The role requires accurate documentation using EPIC EMR and flexibility to float across multiple campuses. Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant experience, an active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license, BLS certification from AHA or ARC, and experience with PCA and Heparin drips. The position involves caring for patients recovering from surgeries like joint replacements, mastectomies, and abdominal procedures, with a focus on ensuring positive outcomes and recovery.
