Med Surg Nurse or LPN - Day or Night Shifts

About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg 5W, responsible for providing patient care utilizing the nursing process, evaluating care effectiveness, and coordinating with other departments. The role involves maintaining patient rights, confidentiality, and performing duties aligned with our mission and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess and care for adult medical patients with various diagnoses such as infections, obstructions, and pneumonia
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and evaluate care provided by team members
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
• Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and professional accountability

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Previous hospital experience preferred
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing and walking
