Med Surg Nurse
Job Summary
You will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that impacts patients' well-being and recovery. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, handle complex situations, assist with patient care, and assume responsibilities of a Primary Nurse and Team Leader.
Responsibilities
- Provides assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients from adolescent to geriatric
- Handles patients with more complex situations with assistance and supervision
- Affords assistance in managing patient care administered by other members of the nursing staff
- Assumes responsibilities of Primary Nurse and Team Leader
Required Job Requirements
- Associate's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
- One (1) year RN experience
- Valid compact state or Arizona RN license
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification
- Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or successfully completing basic EKG class/modules within six (6) months
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
