Responsibilities
- Act as a manager and mentor for engineers on policies, procedures, and technical issues related to mechanical, electrical, and software integration.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the daily activities of the mechatronics development department/group/team.
- Ensure the team adheres to industry best practices and company standards for mechatronics development.
- Oversee integration of various subsystems (mechanical, electrical, and software) to ensure seamless operation.
- Evaluate and optimize designs for manufacturability, performance, cost, and reliability.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, ensuring their continuous development and alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 5 years of individual contributor experience as a Mechatronics Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Robotics Engineer, or other related engineering fields.
- 3+ years of experience managing teams of engineers in mechatronics development.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechatronics principles, including mechanical design, electrical systems, control systems, and embedded software.
- Proficiency in CAD tools for mechanical design (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation software.
- Experience with embedded systems programming and software development, including proficiency in C, C++, or similar languages.
- Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
- Strong project management skills, particularly with complex cross-disciplinary projects.

- Preferred experience working in Robotics, Automation, or a similar field.
