Responsibilities
- Teach foundational and applied topics in Robotics and Mechatronic systems.
- Support classroom and laboratory instruction in areas such as sensors and actuators, industrial automation, robotic kinematics, microcontrollers, PLCs, control systems, and system integration.
- Deliver hands-on, application-focused learning to prepare students for careers in advanced manufacturing, automation, and engineering technology.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
- May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Sensors, actuators, and system instrumentation
- Robotics fundamentals, robotic arms, kinematics, and automation
- Mechatronic systems, electromechanical integration
- Microcontrollers, PLCs, embedded systems, or industrial controls
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to support diverse student populations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to manage multiple instructional responsibilities and meet established deadlines
- Ability to demonstrate best practices in teaching engineering or technical courses in a community college environment
KSA's/Required Qualifications
- Teaching or industry experience in robotics, mechatronics, automation, or related engineering technology fields
- CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)

- Operation of a State Vehicle
