Mechanics Garage Yard Coordinator
About the role
S.A. Comunale is seeking a Mechanics Garage Yard Coordinator to join their team. This position will be working in the mechanic garage performing various duties to ensure the efficient operation of the shop, maintain organization of equipment in the yard, ensure safety movement of lifts and vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive lifts, lulls, tow-motors, and vehicles.
- Organization of equipment yard.
- Bringing equipment to the mechanics as needed.
- Running equipment prior to shipment.
- Staging of equipment for shipment.
- Drive Company vehicles to run errands when needed.
- Power washing returned equipment as needed.
- Be aware of surroundings to work safely.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 1+ years of related work experience is required.
- Vocational or industry trade school is a plus.
- Ability to obtain a current DOT Medical Card is required.
- Valid driver’s license with clear driving record is required.
- Previous experience operating lifts, tow-motor and forklift is a plus.
- Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required.
- Average experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word and Excel) applications is required.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
