About the role

The Technician Supervisor (L3) position supports the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) programs at the Eastern Range (ER), overseeing mechanical activities for the sustainment test organization.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with multiple engineering and support disciplines to ensure projects are executed.
  • Work closely with ER Test Engineering leadership team to properly prioritize workloads and support all cost and schedule commitments.
  • Ensure employee training is up to date, coordinate recruitment, selection, and training, perform performance assessments, manage overtime workload, and handle recognition and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure Production Orders are accurate, followed, bought up, and closed in a timely manner, assist in planning detailed operating schedules, track work performed, integrate new technicians into the work group, incorporate nonconformance work into existing schedules, and provide cause and corrective actions for closure.
  • Support the delivery of products.

Requirements

  • Experience leading or working with represented workforce.
  • Strong communication skills including technical writing.
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office software suite.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with the FBM program and customer base.
  • Mechanical design and/or manufacturing experience that includes the use of interpretation of engineering design drawings.
  • Understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including structures, mechanisms, materials, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with engineering CAD tools.
  • Experience managing resources within a test environment to meet cost, schedule, and technical parameters.
  • Proven ability to think "outside the box" for innovative solutions to challenging programmatic issues and risks.

Skills

  • Experience with the FBM program and customer base.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

This position is full-time and requires onsite work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
