About the role

The Mechanical Technician, Sholem position involves performing preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, repairing failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensuring maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Performing maintenance and repairs on engines, compressors and associated components, such as compressor valves, spark plugs, cooling and lubrication systems (auxiliary).
• Overhauling compressors and engines/engine swings, including foundation work, initial alignment, testing, and startup.
• Ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient performance of maintenance and operation activities in accordance with Company standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Complying with company policies, procedures, and directives.
• Performing work on air pollution control equipment.
• Performing required preventive and corrective maintenance on various types of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Identifying maintenance work and initiating work requests.
• Driving a company-owned vehicle within assigned area.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems.
• Ability to provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control over 3rd Party contractors performing major maintenance.
• Maintain all required operations and safety training including required Operator Qualifications for DOT-covered tasks.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
• High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must live/relocate within 45 miles of reporting location.
• Willing and able to work a rotating call-out schedule.
• Willing and able to perform/comply, with or without a reasonable accommodation, with the following:
• Climb various ladders and stairs ranging 5 to 20 feet in height on platforms and catwalks to perform maintenance on equipment as part of this position.
• Raise and transport articles weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally exert pulling force of 100 pounds.
• Walk, stand, stoop, sit, climb, and carry material on a daily basis on even and uneven terrain.
• Work outside in harsh weather conditions.
• Work alone a high percentage of the time.
• Work scheduled or unscheduled overtime on an as-needed basis.
• Wear fire-retardant clothing and other personal protective equipment, such as steel-toe shoes and ear and eye protection.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years maintenance/mechanical experience in oil and gas or related industry.
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, and available maintenance programs.
• A sound knowledge of code requirements, including OSHA, Process Safety.

Skills

• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems.
• Ability to provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control over 3rd Party contractors performing major maintenance.
• Maintain all required operations and safety training including required Operator Qualifications for DOT-covered tasks.

This position offers a base salary range of $74,970 – $113,960. Additional benefits include:

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $74,970 – $113,960.
