Responsibilities

• Gain comprehensive understanding of how the equipment’s mechanical systems are built and operate.
• Troubleshoot and solve any issues related to the equipment’s hardware.
• Follow manufacturer’s guidelines/manuals for service, repair, and set up.
• Respond quickly to any problem causing equipment down time.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to ensure equipment can meet its availability requirements.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• The Maintenance Technician works precisely and carefully to assemble equipment according to engineering drawings in-house and at the customer’s site.
• Assists in the commissioning of machines and systems and responds to customer’s service needs.
• Cross-disciplinary work is required with all trades, external companies, suppliers, and manufacturers.
• Diagnoses causes of malfunctions or failures and advises and helps implement corrective actions.
