Mechanical Technician II - Field Welding & Mechanical
About the role
You’ll be an integral part of our field operations, providing essential support across a wide range of construction, mechanical, and industrial projects. This is a hands-on position that combines your mechanical know-how with your general understanding of construction trades, making each day different and exciting.
Responsibilities
- Perform concrete work, rebar, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, rigging, excavation, ditching, trenching, and general labor as required
- Structural steel installation
- Operate basic machinery such as a man-lift, scissor lift, fork-lift, etc.
- Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, plumb bobs, etc.
- Assemble machinery and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures
Requirements
- A solid understanding of industrial construction
- Prior experience in commercial/industrial mechanical fields
- Proficient in setting bearings, performing alignments, setting structural steel, etc.
- Valid driver’s license
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant mechanical, construction, pipe insulation, or solar installation experience preferred
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure

Pay
USD $22.00/Hr. USD $25.00/Hr.
Schedule
Expect a dynamic work environment where flexibility is important, as your role may involve extensive travel, out-of-town assignments, and a schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and sometimes night shifts.
