Mechanical Technician I and II

About the role

Mechanic I or II position that assists in the maintenance of one or more compressors with responsibility for the compressor packages and equipment. Provides feedback for the operation of compressor packages. Planning and organization of PMs and other maintenance items. Has a minimum of entry level diagnostic and repair skills. May assist other field locations/mechanics.

Requirements

• Caterpillar engine experience is required.
• Waukesha engine experience is highly preferred.
• Ariel compressor experience is highly preferred.
• Candidates within approximately 50 miles needed.
• Agency truck provided.
• Less than 10 years of experience.
• Some knowledge in gas processes and mechanics of motor compressors (Waukesha, Ariel, Caterpillar, etc.).
• 1+ year compression process, production, and equipment related experience and/or training.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred — OEM, Trade School, or comparable work experience in related field/industry.
• Working knowledge of relevant safety procedures and regulations.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) proficiency.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable MVR required.

Pay

• Mechanical Technician I — $35.55/hr
• Mechanical Technician II — $43.45/hr
