Mechanical Technician
W & W Collision Center in Demorest, GA is seeking a full-time Mechanical Technician to support our growing need for advanced diagnostics and calibration expertise. About the role
In this position, you'll diagnose and repair various vehicle systems, perform scans, interpret trouble codes, and calibrate ADAS per manufacturer guidelines. Daily tasks will include test-driving vehicles, troubleshooting electrical and drivability issues, and repairing or replacing components like cooling systems and safety sensors. Clear communication of findings with estimators and team members will be essential to maintain workflow and repair quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various vehicle systems
- Perform scans and interpret trouble codes
- Calibrate ADAS per manufacturer guidelines
- Test-drive vehicles
- Troubleshoot electrical and drivability issues
- Repair or replace components such as cooling systems and safety sensors
- Communicate findings clearly with estimators and team members
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Automotive repair experience
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn advanced technology systems
- Interest in ADAS systems, calibrations, and modern vehicle electronics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and lift 70+ lbs
- Willingness to complete ongoing training and certification programs
Experience with diagnostics or scan tools is a plus.

Pay
Competitive wage of $22–$32 per hour, based on experience, with higher compensation considered for candidates with advanced experience, OEM certifications, or strong diagnostic and calibration expertise.
Schedule
Full-time position working Monday through Thursday from 6 AM to 5 PM, with Fridays off.
