Mechanical Technician 3
What's the Job?
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, water chillers, and mechanical equipment to ensure continuous facility operations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with pumps, motors, air handlers, automation controls, and electrical systems, performing repairs using industry-standard tools and techniques.
Manage work orders efficiently using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and document all maintenance activities accurately.
Evaluate building systems to identify energy-saving opportunities and recommend operational improvements to reduce consumption.
Collaborate with team members, contractors, and building occupants to coordinate maintenance activities and respond to service requests.
What's Needed?
- Minimum 2 years of technical experience in building engineering, with expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical repair, or general building maintenance.
- Hands-on proficiency with commercial HVAC systems including pumps, motors, air handlers, and automation/controls systems.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs independently.
- Valid state driver's license maintained throughout employment.
- High school diploma or GED.
