About the role
You’ll play a vital role in the installation and support of solar panel systems while contributing to various construction, mechanical, and industrial projects across diverse industries.
Responsibilities
- Install mechanical and electrical components of a solar energy system
- Learn to safely work around the electrical wiring of solar array/systems (AC and DC)
- Run conduit and cables from solar panels to combiner boxes
- Assist with the layout and construct solar modules/arrays and mounting hardware
- Mount mechanical and structural racking, modules, and electrical equipment
- Provide general labor for various construction, industrial and mechanical projects
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine job requirements as required
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience for piles, racking, and/or mods preferred
- 1-3 years of mechanical experience in a residential, commercial, or industrial capacity required
- Possesses a mechanical aptitude with prior experience in solar commercial/industrial mechanical fields required
- Prior experience leading small crews in the installation of solar piles, racking, and/or mods preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Preference given to candidates with previous experience operating Pile Driving Equipment such as a PD-10 or equivalent
- Experience using basic hand tools
Qualifications

Schedule
- Flexibility is key in this role, as it will involve travel, out-of-town work, and a work schedule that may include weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasionally night shifts.
