Mechanical Site Supervisor

About the role

The Site Supervisor – Mechanical role is available at Beckton, London for a leading national service provider within the utilities sector. This is an excellent opportunity to work on essential infrastructure projects with a contractor known for quality, safety, and long-term career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-organized working environment
• Ensure all Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) documentation is accurate, compliant, and up to date
• Maintain high QA/QC standards throughout the mechanical installation process
• Supervise works in line with approved method statements, risk assessments, and work instructions
• Monitor and record progress of works using record drawings or other suitable methods
• Identify and record non-conformances and improvement opportunities, agreeing corrective actions with relevant parties
• Cookordinate site teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery of mechanical works

About You

• Several years’ experience within the water or utilities sector, with a strong mechanical background
• Proven expertise in pipework fabrication, pressure testing, welding, and mechanical erection
• Qualified to HNC/HND level in Mechanical Engineering, or completion of a recognised welding apprenticeship with substantial practical experience
• Hold valid SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
