Activities
- Ensure HSE compliance by enforcing TotalEnergies’ health, safety, and environmental standards across all activities
- Implement and manage the project QA/QC plan, ensuring adherence throughout construction
- Perform electrical quality inspections using digital tools (e.g., Vyn system)
- Oversee equipment receiving inspections, including transformers and inverter/transformer skids
- Identify, track, and resolve non-conformities, implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Verify contractor work and documentation in accordance with contractual requirements
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and technical specifications
- Collaborate cross-functionally with construction, procurement, and engineering teams
- Cross-coordinate with third-party engineers to validate installation quality and performance
- Track, maintain, and report QA/QC documentation and metrics
- Manage project documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for internal and external stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement through development of internal standards and procedures
- Act as the electrical subject matter expert, supporting technical decision-making and issue resolution
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates on quality performance and key issues
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience, including construction and photovoltaic (PV) projects
- Experience on utility-scale renewable energy projects required
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installations within renewable energy projects
- Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and QA/QC processes
- Experience reviewing contractor work, technical documentation, and design drawings
- Strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment
