Join our innovative team to lead mechanical projects for a large-scale ambulatory care center and dental clinic in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

About the role

Mechanical Project Managers are responsible for the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of all mechanical construction activities on our projects. This position involves collaboration with mechanical trades superintendents, subcontractors, and the RQ team to produce quality work within government-specified requirements, budget, and schedule—from conceptual design to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily mechanical construction activities on-site.
  • Coordinate with mechanical trades superintendents and subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects meet government requirements, budget, and schedule.
  • Manage projects from conceptual design through completion.

Requirements

  • Relocation to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (company-provided housing for self and dependents, company vehicle, paid utilities, and quarterly trips off-island included).
  • Valid passport and successful in-depth background screening (including Department of Defense clearance).
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, overseeing mechanical scopes of at least $5,000,000 (commercial/government projects).
  • Government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred; design-build industry experience highly desirable.
  • Proven track record managing projects in medical centers, dental facilities, or other healthcare environments preferred.

Skills

  • Computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel, Primavera P6); training available.
  • Familiarity with BIM and CADD software preferred; training available.
