Mechanical Project Manager
Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manage mechanical scopes from kickoff through project closeout
- Oversee HVAC and piping installations including equipment procurement and scheduling
- Cookordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and internal field teams
- Track project budgets, cost forecasts, and change orders
- Lead subcontractor buyout and ongoing vendor management
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and aligned with contract documents
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
- Support field teams with problem-solving and coordination issues
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- 5–10+ years of experience in commercial mechanical construction
- Background working for a mechanical contractor or subcontractor
- Experience managing HVAC and or piping scopes on ground up or large retrofit projects
- Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, and cost control
- Able to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Effective communication skills working with both field and office teams
- Familiarity with project management software and estimating tools
