Essential Functions The Industrial Project Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company policy, strategy, commitments, and goals. Where necessary and applicable, coordinate and/or assist in the duties below: Ensure the safe operation of all projects by following and enforcing all company and customer safety policies and regulations. Estimate the value of work based on IMI standardized processes and toolsLead the planning and implementation of a project clearly articulating project scope, goals, and deliverablesDevelop full scale project plans with timelinesAssemble and coordinate project staffDevelop and manage a budgetInterview and hire; develop, mentor, and train existing staff; coach and counsel existing staff to improve output; conduct performance appraisalsProvide direction and support to project teamConstantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders including problems and solutionsImplement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputsClose assigned project with a managed review with customer that validates quality of work and adherence to scope of workDevelop and implement a strategy to increase business in your designated area and cultivate positive customer relationships with existing and potential customers Education And Experience Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 3-5 years of experience in project management is preferredMinimum of three years’ work experience in a project management capacityProven experience in people management and a commitment to industrial safetyAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyComputer experience, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Excel, Project, and Outlook Work Environment/Physical Demands Stand or walk for long periods of timeUse arms and hands to reach for, handle, or manipulate objectsLift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistanceManual dexterity needed for repetitive tasks and operating standard office equipmentWillingness to travel overnight up to 5-10% of the time IMI maintains a Drug-Free Workplace in compliance with federal/state regulations.
