Mechanical Planner

About the Role

TekWissen, a global workforce management provider, is seeking a Mechanical Planner for a 12-month temporary assignment in Sabine Pass, TX. The role requires onsite work and offers an opportunity to contribute to maintenance and reliability programs for the asset.

Responsibilities

• Plan maintenance and reliability programs for the asset.
• Create and maintain project and outage plans using planning software.
• Prioritize work for efficient response, backlog maintenance, and cost control.
• Develop job packs with all relevant information for job plans.
• Coordinate work order development and scheduling with Operations and Maintenance personnel.
• Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly look-ahead schedules for expense and upgrade work.
• Manage work dispatching and manpower availability in coordination with supervision.
• Provide technical support for CMMS modules.
• Ensure proper documentation for work orders.
• Identify material requirements and interface with vendors/supply chain.
• Assist in developing KPIs and produce reports on schedule compliance.
• Analyze deviations, variations, and trends with graphical representations.
• Request changes to procedures and assist in writing new ones.
• Recommend and implement training to enhance work activities.
• Assist in budget development as required.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED (Technical Degree is a plus).
• 5+ years of maintenance experience utilizing SAP in Oil and Gas or petrochemical facilities.
• Heavy working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of Planning, Scheduling, and Execution processes.
• Experience with scaffolding, painting, insulating, heavy equipment operation, rigging/lifting crafts, welding, fabrication, and machining work estimation.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working in a PHMSA regulated Pipeline facility preferred.
• Experience with gas compression and metering equipment preferred.
