About the role
In this role, you will support the operation and maintenance of critical mechanical utility and facility systems within an industrial or manufacturing environment. You will work closely with site operations, maintenance teams, engineering, and project stakeholders to support safe and reliable equipment operation and facility activities.
Responsibilities
- Support the operation and maintenance of mechanical facility and utility systems, including pumps and motors, air scrubbers and exhaust fans, HVAC equipment, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, process cooling water, and compressed air systems.
- Perform equipment startup walkdowns for PLS and Basebuild equipment and support equipment readiness activities.
- Perform utility turn-ons and turn-offs for manufacturing tools following review and approval of required paperwork and site procedures.
- Support troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment walkdowns, and general mechanical facility operations.
- Assist with in-house projects and related mechanical facility activities as required.
- Support Site Incident Prevention Planning (SIPP) activities as required.
- Adhere to all site safety policies, procedures, and applicable LOTO requirements.
- Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills
- Minimum 3 years of mechanical facilities, utility, or maintenance experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with pumps, motors, HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, compressed air, and process cooling water systems.
- Experience supporting equipment startup, walkdowns, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Experience supporting facility utilities and mechanical equipment operations.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to LOTO and site safety procedures.
- Ability to identify and escalate equipment or system issues appropriately.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with operations, maintenance, engineering, and project teams.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Education / Licenses / Certifications
- Technical or trade certification in Mechanical, HVAC, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred.
- Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.

Pay
Hourly Rate: $30—$40 USD
