Mechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment at Waupaca Foundry & Castings. This position requires a strong background in mechanical maintenance and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on foundry equipment
• Maintain and operate various types of machinery and tools
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and techniques

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Experience with industrial machinery and equipment
