Shift
This position follows our 5-2-2-5 rotating night shift schedule. You’ll work five nights on, five nights off, two nights on, two nights off—giving you a great work-life balance with regular extended breaks. Shifts are 12 hours, starting at 4:30 PM and ending at 4:30 AM. It’s a consistent, predictable rotation that gives you built-in time off without using PTO.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain a wide range of mechanical systems to keep operations running smoothly
- Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and equipment calibrations to optimize performance and reliability
- Work hands-on with hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and power transmission systems
- Safely operate and maintain industrial tools and mobile equipment including cranes and forklifts
- Partner with Electrical Maintenance Technicians to tackle cross-functional maintenance tasks
- Always prioritize safety by strictly adhering to protocols such as lockout/tagout, fall protection, and confined space entry procedures
What You Will Bring
- A high school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience
- Machining and welding
- Hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication, and plumbing
- Power transmission systems, including bearings, gearing, conveyors, fans, shaft alignment, sprockets, and coupling
- Experience with overhead crane troubleshooting and repair
- Proficient in rigging and lifting procedures
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
- A true team player with strong problem-solving abilities
Nice To Haves
- Journeyman Certification or completion of a formal apprenticeship program
- Hands-on experience with SMAW, MIG, and/or TIG welding
- Previous work experience in the steel or heavy manufacturing industry
- Fabrication skills and a basic understanding of electrical systems
- Up-to-date safety certifications and a strong awareness of industry-standard safety practices
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Regular standing, walking, lifting (up to 100lbs), and use of hand tools
- Exposure to heat, cold, grease, and working at elevated heights
PAY
We offer competitive base pay + night shift premium of an extra $2.25/hr
And a $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS paid out after 90 days + quarterly bonuses + annual profit sharing bonus!
