Mechanical Maintenance Specialist
The Job
The support of donors is vital to Mia’s mission of inspiring wonder through the power of art. As a key ambassador for Mia, you'll build meaningful relationships with high-profile, high-capacity donors — identifying prospects, cultivating connections, and securing gifts that power the museum's mission. This includes unrestricted annual giving, designated gifts for special projects and programs, and planned gift commitments. Through personal, one-on-one engagement, you'll guide donors from first conversation to closed gifts, helping turn their passion for Mia into lasting support.

Education Coordinator
The Education Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Education department by coordinating programming and working closely with the team. Key responsibilities include administrative support for studio classes, in-gallery lessons, and workshops for PK-12 teachers, students, higher education professionals, and youth groups. Additionally, this role collaborates with other department coordinators to streamline programming processes.
Specific Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience with program coordination
- Experience supporting a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, methodical, detail-oriented, well-organized
- Experience utilizing multiple types of office and scheduling software - Google Office Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management software (Asana), Scheduling software, CRM software (Salesforce)
- Ability to provide administrative support utilizing high-functioning multi-tasking capabilities as well as work initiative, problem solving, accuracy, follow-up and follow-through
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Two to three years of related experience, especially with schools and volunteers
- Experience engaging with students, families, the public, volunteers, and/or visitors in a customer service, educational, or community-facing environment.
- Knowledge of some art history is helpful
- Experience with scheduling and volunteer software desired
