About the role

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company, providing analytical testing services to ensure the safety, authenticity, and accuracy of products across multiple industries, including food, water, medicines, and more. This entry-level position focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of building mechanical systems, with opportunities to expand your knowledge base.

Responsibilities

Maintain building mechanical systems, completing all assigned work in a timely manner and responding to emergency situations as they arise.
Meet quality and productivity metrics while demonstrating strong teamwork and collaboration.
Effectively communicate with external vendors and contractors to request quotes and complete projects.
Learn and perform routine and non-routine duties independently with minimal guidance.
Diagnose problems and suggest possible solutions.
Apply technical knowledge or skills not easily or quickly learned on the job.
Assist with projects in a timely manner, including installing new equipment and repairing minor to critical campus equipment.
Administer preventive maintenance and respond to emergent repairs.
Provide general assistance to supervisors and communicate effectively with clients and staff members.
Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one year of mechanical experience in one of the following fields: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, or closely related experience.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday-Friday. Available shifts: 1st (7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.) and 2nd (3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.), with additional hours as needed.
