About the Role
This position involves demonstrating expertise in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying plant-specific nuclear maintenance and technical training programs across various disciplines including Chemistry, Engineering, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, and Radiation Protection.
Responsibilities
- Drive personnel performance improvement through training aligned with systematic training models and industry standards.
- Maintain current training programs incorporating relevant operational reports, regulatory updates, design changes, and effectiveness assessments.
- Prepare and evaluate trainee performance in classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator environments, offering counseling and developing individualized training plans.
- Support business initiatives, project management, outage support, emergency preparedness, and special projects.
- Participate in audits, respond to findings, and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Supervise collection and management of training records and reports.
- Perform additional duties such as emergency response and outage support as needed.
Qualifications
For M&T Instructor: High school diploma/GED with 3-5 years of nuclear technical experience or relevant technical education with 2-4 years of experience; or Associate’s/Bachelor’s in a technical discipline with corresponding experience.
For Sr M&T Instructor: High school diploma/GED with 5-7 years of nuclear background or related experience; or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
Skills
- Experience delivering training and knowledge of systematic training approaches (SAT).
- For senior roles, supervisory or lead experience is preferred.
