About the role
The position involves demonstrating mastery in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying plant-specific nuclear maintenance and technical training programs across various disciplines such as Chemistry, Engineering, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, and Radiation Protection.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate performance-based training to improve personnel and plant performance, ensuring programs adhere to systematic training models and incorporate relevant operational and regulatory updates.
- Develop and evaluate trainee assessments, conduct evaluations, and recommend individualized training plans.
- Support business initiatives, project management, outage support, emergency preparedness, and special projects.
- Participate in audits, prepare responses, and maintain comprehensive training records.
- Maintain current knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills, and techniques to deliver high-quality training.
- Perform additional duties including emergency response and outage support as needed.
Qualifications
A high school diploma/GED with relevant experience or a technical degree with related discipline experience is required. The candidate must meet or exceed standards for personnel qualification and maintain access requirements, and have experience in delivering or supervising technical training, with preferred knowledge of systematic training approaches.
Skills
- Strong technical knowledge in nuclear disciplines.
- Experience with performance-based training, audit participation, and record keeping.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred for senior roles.
