Mechanical Journeyperson (Tool and Die)

About the role

The Tool and Die Journeyperson works independently with minimal supervision, handling multiple tasks related to maintaining, repairing, and fabricating industrial machinery and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures per OSHA standards
• Maintain and repair mechanical and hydraulic components on equipment such as motors, pumps, CNC spindles, and valves
• Assemble, fabricate, and repair piping systems and conveyor or automation systems by reading blueprints
• Operate hand/power tools, CNC machines, and mobile equipment like forklifts and cranes
• Use measurement instruments to verify product quality and dimensional accuracy
• Plan operations for fabricating tools or assemblies

Qualifications

At least six years of related mechanical trade experience or a relevant Department of Labor certification. Must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and willing to work flexible shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Skills

Ability to pass assessments, drug tests, and background checks. Physical ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate mobile equipment.
