Responsibilities

• Plan, layout, and perform all bench and machine operations to build, service, repair, and maintain tools, dies, and fixtures throughout the facility.
• Maintain Lozier’s quality and safety standards.
• Operate a variety of hand and powered tools including, but not limited to, surface grinders, milling machines, lathes, drill presses, belt sanders, saws, hoists, clamps, and measuring tools.
• Constant hand usage.
• Frequent standing and reaching.
• Occasional walking, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, and elevated reaching.
• Provide instruction to apprentices and trainees.

Requirements

• A degree in tool and die technology is preferred.
• Four years of previous tool & die experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a good attendance record.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.

Benefits

• 1st shift: $30.54
  2nd shift: $33.76
  3rd shift: $33.46
• $1,000 bonus after completion of 90 days of employment (subject to taxes), applicable to new hires only.
