About the Role
Lead mechanical installation projects at client locations throughout North America. This hands-on leadership role involves planning, mentoring the team, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating closely with project management to deliver successful mechanical system installations on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned mechanical installation tasks safely and efficiently as directed by site supervision.
- Plan and complete conveyor layouts, verify component fit, and pre-assemble conveyor sections for efficient on-site installation.
- Lead installation of structural elements, including header steel, platforms, and other steel frameworks to ensure mechanical systems are securely and accurately installed.
- Take personal responsibility for your safety and the safety of others on-site.
- Install conveyors, safety guardrails, and racking systems with attention to alignment, structural integrity, and operational efficiency.
- Perform detailed installation tasks, validate mechanical assemblies, and conduct initial run-in testing to confirm accurate function before commissioning.
- Provide guidance, basic training, and support to less experienced personnel.
- Physically handle jobsite demands, including lifting at least 50 lbs, pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, and walking across large construction sites in various climates and conditions.
- Coordinate daily work activities, assign tasks, and supervise daily progress.
- Conduct daily Tool Box talks, maintain safety documentation, perform Gensuite audits, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, site policies, and company standards.
- Acquire OSHA 30 certification upon hire.
- Coordinate with internal project teams, General Contractors, and other trades.
- Lead small to intermediate groups of teams composed of a diverse set of backgrounds and capabilities.
- Detect and resolve technical issues with existing systems and/or work being performed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience; technical degree or specialized training preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience installing and/or maintaining conveyor or material handling equipment.
- 100% travel to customer sites across the United States, using your personal vehicle. Valid driver’s license required.

Pay
The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $60,400 to $83,050 salary at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
