Mechanical Installation Foreman 2

About the role

This position offers the opportunity to work on different customer projects and locations across the continental USA, with 100% travel required to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation quality on the project site, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality.
• Manage quality checklists and submit Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identified.
• Oversee on-site safety, including conducting safety audits.
• Assist with routine equipment trial runs to verify compliance with specifications and Dematic standards.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule and resources to the project manager and/or customer.
• Train contract labor and subcontractors in the installation of Dematic and other material handling equipment.
• Write concise, clear, and complete trip reports within the required timeframe according to Dematic procedures.
• Identify problems as they occur and suggest appropriate solutions for non-complex issues.
• Travel on short notice and spend up to 100% of the time traveling; prepared to be on call and travel as needed.
• Perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, crawling, squatting, and walking around large construction sites in various climates and conditions.

Requirements

• Minimum ten years of experience in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Service experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is helpful.
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience with quality assurance.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts with overtime compensation offered.
• Proficiency in using personal computers, database functions, and communications.
• Understanding of personal computer hardware setup and software configuration required.

Pay

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $88,000 – $95,000 a year at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
