About the role
We are seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager to support and coordinate mechanical construction activities for a confidential industrial client. This is an embedded, client-side role, working onsite as part of a larger construction management team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage assigned mechanical construction activities within the plant under the guidance of senior construction leadership.
- Support construction execution by overseeing contractor activities related to mechanical scopes, ensuring work aligns with project plans, schedules, and quality expectations.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems within the facility, coordinating with electrical and other discipline leads as needed.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to maintain alignment with project objectives, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Assist in the development and execution of construction schedules related to plant shutdowns and individual product line downtimes.
- Monitor project progress for assigned scopes, identify potential issues or risks, and escalate concerns as appropriate.
- Support compliance with all site safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Aid in the preparation of project documentation and provide status updates for project leadership and client stakeholders.
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

- You have two to five years of progressive experience in mechanical construction, mechanical systems oversight, or industrial capital projects.
- You are able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- You have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
- You are willing to work a flexible schedule.
