GPR Precision Machining is seeking a Mechanical Fabrication & Verification Specialist to join our team in Fairfield, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical fabrication and verification, with experience in precision machining techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate mechanical components using various machining processes.
• Verify component accuracy and functionality using inspection tools and techniques.
• Work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical fabrication and verification.
• Proficiency in CNC machines and inspection equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of materials science and metallurgy.
• Experience with quality assurance and control procedures.
• Basic understanding of CAD/CAM software.

Skills

• Proficient in CNC programming and operation.
• Skilled in the use of measuring instruments and gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
