Fabrication Specialist

About the role

We are looking for dedicated, energetic, and enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team at our shop facility located just outside Chattanooga, TN!

Responsibilities

• Ability to pass an SMAW plate 2g and 3g weld test;
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints;
• Ability to fit and fabricate within 1/32" tolerance;
• A background in visual inspection (even a small amount of experience is a plus);
• Proficient in SMAW and FCAW;
• An operational understanding of SWPS, WPS, WPQR;
• Pipe fitting experience is a plus;
• Must be committed to working safely;
• Must be able to follow instructions;
• Must be a team player and a good communicator;
• Must be able to pass pre-screening and random drug and alcohol testing.

• Experience in both modern and vintage rail equipment;
• Experience in part-time, full-time, and contracting capabilities.
